Job summary

AF - Group in the United States seeks a senior actuary to perform advanced analyses for pricing, reserving, product development, and capital management. You will design and maintain models, prepare exhibits, and present recommendations to senior management.

You will mentor actuarial analysts, collaborate with business units, monitor projections, and ensure adherence to actuarial standards and CE requirements. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• ACAS required; FCAS preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of property and casualty actuarial experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform actuarial analyses for pricing, reserving, product development, and capital management.
• Communicate findings through presentations, reports, and pricing tools.
• Document work and improve internal processes.
• Design and maintain pricing, reserving, reinsurance, and forecasting models.
• Collaborate with business units to drive strategic plans and metrics.
• Monitor premium and loss ratio projections and report status to management.
• Mentor actuarial analysts and represent Actuarial on corporate projects.
• Attend meetings and committees for the actuarial department.
• Maintain actuarial professional standards and CE requirements.
• Work in a virtual office with minimal travel.
