Devoted Health seeks a Pricing Actuary to lead strategy, modeling, and financial execution for Commercial lines, including Large Group and ASO products. You will build scalable pricing engines, defend assumptions, and partner with underwriting, sales, finance, and regulators to drive profitable outcomes.

Your deep actuarial expertise will guide rate filings, pricing design, and portfolio risk management, while delivering timely regulatory submissions and executive-ready presentations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive healthcare actuarial experience, with at least 5+ years in Commercial pricing, rating model development, and regulatory rate filings.
• Hands-on experience building rating engines or significantly upgrading pricing tools.
• Proven ability to work with underwriting, sales, finance, and regulators to drive results.

Responsabilités

• Direct rating model development for Commercial Large Group lines, building scalable pricing engines.
• Partner with product, market leadership, and underwriting to evaluate pricing strategies and profitability targets.
• Develop pricing assumptions including manual rates, age/gender factors, trend projections, and expense allocations.
• Ensure timely regulatory rate filings across multiple states; communicate with regulators and manage objections.
• Oversee ASO and stop-loss pricing, and monitor portfolio risk and renewal performance.
• Prepare executive summaries and present rate strategy, margin projections, and impacts to leadership.
