Smith Hanley is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst - Pricing to drive personal lines pricing through advanced actuarial analyses and data‑driven insights. This remote role is limited to select U.S. states and offers a competitive salary plus bonus.

You will lead rate filings, develop rate indications, and work with Underwriting and Analytics to improve pricing and product decisions. The role emphasizes collaboration and ongoing actuarial development.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• 4+ years actuarial experience including at least 2 years supporting rate filings.
• Completion of 4+ actuarial exams.
• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance products.
• Experience with GLM-based rating plans.

Aufgaben

• Serve as SME on personal lines rating plans and pricing methodologies.
• Develop and support rate indications and rate filings.
• Partner with Underwriting and Analytics to evaluate segment performance and pricing or product changes.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on market trends and pricing strategies.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and actuarial standards.
