Job summary

AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is seeking a Middle Market Pricing professional to support pricing strategy, profitability analysis, and business growth in North America. You will collaborate with actuarial and underwriting teams on pricing models, portfolio performance, and strategic analyses.

The role involves working with multiple industries and geographies to deliver pricing recommendations and insights that drive profitable growth for AXA XL’s Middle Market portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, applied math, statistics, or related quantitative field.
• Progress toward CAS credentialing with a demonstrated commitment to professional development.
• Experience using Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical tools to analyze data, automate processes, and develop insights.

Responsibilities

• Support pricing strategy development with underwriting and actuarial leadership to drive profitable growth across AXA XL Middle Market.
• Deliver actuarial analyses and pricing recommendations for individual accounts, portfolio management, and planning decisions.
• Monitor portfolio performance, rate adequacy, pricing effectiveness, and profitability trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Analyze business results across industries, geographies, and customer segments to support underwriting strategy and renewal actions.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain pricing models, rating tools, and segmentation approaches to improve accuracy and outcomes.
• Perform loss, claims, trend, and market analyses to generate actionable pricing insights.
