AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is seeking a pricing-focused actuary to influence pricing decisions and drive portfolio profitability within the North America Middle Market team.

You will partner with underwriting and actuarial leaders, develop analytical solutions, mentor junior analysts, and present findings to executives to support growth and risk management across diverse industries and geographies.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics.
• Near ACAS designation or ACAS credential.
• Experience with Python, R, SQL or equivalent tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead pricing analyses and support pricing strategy with underwriting and actuarial leaders to drive profitable growth across AXA XL’s Middle Market portfolio.
• Deliver actuarial analyses and pricing recommendations for individual accounts, portfolio management, and business planning decisions.
• Monitor portfolio performance, rate adequacy, pricing effectiveness, and profitability trends to identify opportunities and emerging risks.
• Analyzing business results across industries, geographies, and customer segments to support underwriting strategy, growth initiatives, and renewal actions.
• Leading the development, enhancement, and governance of pricing models, rating tools, and segmentation approaches that improve pricing accuracy and business outcomes.
• Mentoring junior analysts through technical guidance, peer review, and collaborative project execution.
• Presenting analytical findings and recommendations to underwriting, actuarial, and business leaders to influence pricing and portfolio management decisions.
