Job summary

Oscar Health seeks a Senior Analyst, Actuarial - Reserving to support valuation processes for ACA markets. You will establish IBNR projections and risk adjustment accruals while analyzing performance trends for budgeting and strategy.

The role reports to the Manager, Actuarial and offers a hybrid NYC work schedule with three in-office days per week. Base pay ranges $91,660–$120,303 with benefits and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field; SOA designation or on track.
• 3+ years of actuarial experience in related fields.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python for analytics.

Responsibilities

• Establish accruals for IBNR, risk adjustment, and Shared Savings.
• Use SQL and Python to expand frameworks and drive insights.
• Contribute to regulatory filings and financial planning processes.
• Support onboarding of analysts and maintain stakeholder communications.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
