Oscar Health is hiring a Senior Analyst, Actuarial - Reserving to support valuation processes, establish IBNR projections, and analyze performance trends for ACA markets. The role reports to the Manager, Actuarial and offers a remote, US-based work arrangement with potential future hybrid options.

The role requires a STEM degree, SOA credentials (or in progress), and 3+ years of related actuarial experience. Base pay ranges from $91,660 to $120,303 per year, with benefits and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• SOA Associate or Fellow status or on track to attain.
• 3+ years of actuarial or related experience required.

Responsabilités

• Establishes and communicates IBNR accruals for monthly close and regulatory filings.
• Utilizes SQL and Python to expand actuarial frameworks and derive insights.
• Investigates drivers of observed trends to inform budgeting and planning.
• Support onboarding and collaboration with actuarial teams and stakeholders.
• Promote actuarial automation and documentation best practices.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
