Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Actuarial - Reserving to join our Activational Actuarial team. The role focuses on IBNR projections and risk adjustment accruals, with insights shaping budgeting and pricing decisions, and may participate in our rotational program.

You will report to the Manager, Actuarial, and work in a fully remote capacity with potential hybrid options in the future in the Atlanta metro area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field required.
• SOA Associate or Fellow, or on track to become one.
• 3+ years of actuarial experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and communicates accruals for monthly close related to IBNR, risk adjustment, and shared savings deals.
• Leverages SQL and Python to expand frameworks and drive insights for actuarial teams.
• Contributes to regulatory filings review and submission.
• Investigates drivers of observed trends to inform financial planning.
• Promotes actuarial best practices with automation and documentation.
