Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Recreational Services Aide to support planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities aligned with resident care plans. You will assist residents in participating in programs, help with outings, and communicate with families and staff.

This full-time role emphasizes person-centered care, teamwork, safety, and accurate documentation across daily activities and program evaluations.

Qualifications

• English reading, writing and communication required.
• Ability to relate positively with patients, families, and staff.
• Strong verbal and written communication to lead activities.

Responsibilities

• Implements activity programs as planned to meet residents' needs and interests.
• Assists residents to and from activities and outings.
• Maintains rapport with families and encourages family involvement.
• Provides input to assessment and evaluation of resident participation.
• Communicates resident concerns to supervisor and staff.
• Supports resident needs, preferences, routines and choices.
• All other duties, as assigned.
