Villa Healthcare is seeking a Recreational Services Aide to support planning, implementing, and evaluating resident activity programs under the supervision of the Recreational Services Director. You will assist residents to activities and outings, maintain rapport with families, and contribute to assessments.

You will help lead groups and communicate with staff about residents’ needs, with full-time benefits and growth opportunities at Villa Healthcare.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of prior experience in a relevant role, preferred.
• At least one year of experience working in a healthcare setting.

Responsabilités

• Implements activity programming as planned and assigned to meet the functional levels, needs and interests of each resident.
• Assists residents to and from activity programs and outings.
• Maintains good rapport with family members and encourages family support in programs.
• Provides input to the assessment and evaluation of the resident’s participation when requested.
• Communicates a resident’s concerns and responses to interventions to immediate supervisor.
• Supports a resident’s individual needs, preferences, customary routines and choices.
• All other duties, as assigned.
