Villa at Silverbell Estates is seeking a Recreational Services Aide to join their team. Under the supervision of the Recreational Services Director, the Recreational Services Aide assists in the planning, implementation and evaluation of recreational, physical, emotional and psychosocial programs in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to relate positively with patients, families, and staff.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to lead groups in activities.

Responsibilities

• Implements activity programming as planned and assigned.
• Assists residents to and from activity programs and outings.
• Maintains good rapport with families and encourages support.
• Provides input to assessment and evaluation of resident participation.
• Communicates concerns to supervisor.
• Supports resident needs, preferences, routines and choices.
• All other duties as assigned.
