Job summary

The Waters in Minnesota is seeking an Activities Coordinator to lead engaging programs for residents in our Petals Memory Care Program, helping to inspire joy and meaningful interactions. You will develop and run activities across physical wellbeing, creative arts, social connections, Waters Academy, and therapies, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• A love of seniors and passion for enhancing lives through meaningful interactions.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive rapport with residents, team members, and families.
• Previous experience working with seniors and/or experience in memory care, recreational therapy, education, hospitality, or related areas preferred.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends, as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Play a meaningful role in developing and executing activities which help our residents thrive. Some examples of activities include exercise classes, creative arts, culinary creations, social interactions, personal engagements, off-site excursions, etc.
• Assist residents with activities of their choice which may include group activities and/or personal engagements
