Job summary

The Waters, located in Edina, MN, seeks an Activities Coordinator to develop and lead engaging programs that help residents thrive. You will coordinate exercise classes, creative arts, social events, and personal activities to support meaningful connections for our residents in a memory care setting.

Qualifications

• Love of seniors and passion for enhancing lives through meaningful interactions.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive rapport with residents, team members, and families.
• Previous experience working with seniors and/or memory care, recreational therapy, education, hospitality, or related areas preferred.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends, as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Play a meaningful role in developing and executing activities which help our residents thrive. Activities include exercise classes, creative arts, culinary creations, social interactions, personal engagements, off-site excursions, etc.
• Assist residents with activities of their choice which may include group activities and/or personal engagements
