The role requires an Active Secret Clearance, a Bachelor’s degree (or eight years of federal procurement experience), and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 10 years of relevant experience or 8+ years with degree.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; OR 8+ years in federal acquisition, contracting, or procurement support.
• Experience with market research, acquisition documentation, contract administration, or procurement analysis.
• Technical writing, business strategy, Lean Six Sigma/SCRUM leadership, and/or DAWIA Program/Procurement Management.
• Ability to read/write/speak English fluently.

Assertive Professionals is seeking a Senior Acquisition & Procurement Analyst supporting our DoD/DoW customer in Quantico, VA. This is an open position. This position provides 80 hours of paid leave annually, accrued throughout the year plus 11 federal holidays. Paid leave accruals vary by contract and are established based on customer requirements and the contractual level of effort.

• Additional PTO may be given for excused government absences. The salary for this position is $105,000, based on the candidate meeting or exceeding the position requirements. Employees are also eligible for a $1,200 annual corporate compliance bonus for time and attendance compliance. In addition, candidates are eligible for either a $2,000 sign-on bonus or up to $2,000 in relocation cost reimbursement. Responsibilities Include: The Senior Acquisition & Procurement Analyst will support DCSA acquisition and contracting processes, market research and intelligence, requirements planning, business case analysis, acquisition strategies, IGCEs, PWSs, SOWs, procurement-package development, proposal evaluation and award support, COR contract-surveillance activities, technical writing, ABM and other acquisition tools, year-end reconciliation, governance reviews and documentation, procurement reporting, and maintenance of the Master Contract List Tracker.

• Experience supporting market research, acquisition documentation, contract administration, or procurement analysis
• Must possess competencies in technical writing, business strategy, Lean Six Sigma/SCRUM team leadership and/or DAWIA Program and Procurement Management, Project Management and/or Procurement methodologies
• Working knowledge of applying Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and other applicable Federal Regulations and DoD/DoW policies
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
