New Policy & Planning Analyst Remote Apply Assertive Professionals is seeking a Policy & Planning Analyst supporting our DoD/DoW customer in Quantico, VA. This is an open position. This position provides 80 hours of paid leave annually, accrued throughout the year plus 11 federal holidays.

Paid leave accruals vary by contract and are established based on customer requirements and the contractual level of effort. The salary range for this position is structured with this annual leave allocation incorporated into the compensation model.

• Additional PTO may be given for excused government absences. The salary for this position is $76,000, based on the candidate meeting or exceeding the position requirements. Employees are also eligible for a $1,200 annual corporate compliance bonus for time and attendance compliance. In addition, candidates are eligible for either a $2,000 sign-on bonus or up to $2,000 in relocation cost reimbursement. Responsibilities Include: The Policy & Planning Analyst will support DCSA’s Acquisition & Technology organization by drafting policies, procedures, and standards; supporting strategic communications and project management activities; developing and maintaining work breakdown structures and schedules; tracking project costs and performance; preparing portfolio, program, and project assessment reports; supporting change control and governance activities; and facilitating process improvement, working groups, and special projects. The analyst will review and evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicting information, and prepare decision-support information for DCSA leadership. Required Experience and Qualifications:
• Active Secret Clearance
• 3 years of relevant experience
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, public administration, management, or a related discipline; OR A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant policy, strategic planning, or operational management experience
• Experience conducting organizational assessments, developing procedures, and preparing management documentation
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Must possess competencies in technical writing, business strategy, Lean Six Sigma/SCRUM team leadership and/or DAWIA Program and Procurement Management, Project Management and/or Procurement methodologies
• Working knowledge of applying Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and other applicable Federal Regulations and DoD/DoW policies Onsite Position Requirements - This position requires regular onsite work at a government/customer facility.
