Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an experienced acoustical managing consultant to join our Environment and Health team in California. You will lead projects, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff on noise and vibration assessments in line with CEQA requirements.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in engineering, science, or math.
• 10+ years acoustical consulting experience.
• 5+ years CEQA-focused environmental noise assessments.
• CEQA knowledge including IS and EIR processes.
• LORS assessment with CA codes and agencies.
• Strong noise modeling and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing acoustical consulting projects and client relationships.
• Developing and implementing project execution approaches.
• Developing business relationships and evaluating market conditions.
• Leading teams to deliver innovative acoustical design solutions for noise challenges.
• Managing technical analyses: noise surveys, sound level analyses, CadnaA/ SoundPlan modeling.
• Preparing reports, proposals, and fee estimates for clients.
• Mentoring team members and developing technical and professional skills.
• Reviewing local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
