Valence Surface Technologies, LLC in Camden, AR seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage and direct accounting needs with customers and vendors. You will ensure timely monthly reporting and assist the close while supporting the year-end audit with the retained firm.

You will handle AP invoices, POs, checks, journal entries, and account reconciliations, while maintaining organized records and bank analyses. 5+ years in accounting preferred.

Qualificações

• Education: Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) preferred, Field of Study: Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in Accounting (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Manage and direct accounting needs with customers and vendors.
• Ensure timely reporting for all monthly financial information and assist in the monthly close.
• Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Apply a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
• Work with the retained accounting firm to ensure a clean and timely year end audit.
• Set up vendors, process A/P invoices, create POs, and issue checks; prepare journal entries and assist in the reconciliation of accounts.
• Maintain an organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions.
• Prepare bank analysis.
• Verifies the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required
