Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is hiring for an Accounts Payable role focused on processing invoices and payments in E1. You will initiate ACH and wire transfers, reconcile statements, and support month-end accruals while guiding suppliers and internal departments on AP best practices.

The role requires attention to detail, strong data-entry skills, and effective communication with vendors and business users. On-site office environment with standard hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years related experience.
• Efficient data entry skills to process high volumes of invoices and payments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Excellent organization and planning skills.
• Strong communication, written and verbal.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor invoices and credits for accuracy before data entry.
• Process weekly payments (check, ACH, credit card, and wire transfers).
• Initiate and approve wire transfers and maintain vendor templates.
• Prepare month-end accruals for the accounting department.
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Record Concur expense reports in E1 general ledger.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to address payment issues.
