Job summary

Precision Aviation Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to manage high-volume payment processing and verification across banking portals and ERP systems. You will prepare payment batches, verify details, generate remittances, resolve discrepancies, support vendor onboarding, and maintain accurate AP records.

Qualifications

• Accounting or finance education preferred; relevant AP experience may substitute.
• Experience with banking portals, payment batches, remittances, ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong Excel skills: sorting, filtering, lookups, pivot tables, reconciliation.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process payment batches and banking-portal payments.
• Verify dates, amounts, bank details, approvals before processing.
• Create and distribute payment remittances to vendors and stakeholders.
• Review payment files, invoices, and vendor records for accuracy.
• Identify and resolve missing info, incorrect amounts, and payment issues.
• Research rejected or delayed payments and coordinate with vendors.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
• Assist with vendor onboarding and AP documentation.
• Maintain accurate payment records and AP reporting documentation.
• Use Excel to sort, reconcile, and analyze payment data.
• Work with AP Supervisor/Manager on exceptions and process improvements.
