Martin Marietta, a national leader in heavy building materials, seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist in Raleigh, NC. The role requires strong AP experience, ERP proficiency (JD Edwards and Oracle), and excellent Excel and communication skills.

You will handle invoice processing, vendor inquiries, and month-end close activities in a shared services environment. Join a team that values accuracy, efficiency, and strong internal control.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of accounts payable experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High accuracy data entry and detail-oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsabilités

• Process supplier invoices in accordance with policies
• Verify invoice details, purchase orders, receipts, and approvals
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal departments
• Monitor AP helpdesk queue and resolve support requests
• Respond to inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account status
• Process payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers)
• Reconcile vendor statements and outstanding balances
• Assist with month-end close and reporting
• Maintain organized records of AP transactions
• Support audits with required documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and service
• Prepare escheats reports in compliance with state regulations
• Generate and analyze invoice aging reports
