Job summary

Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. seeks a Specialist to strengthen Shared Services, supporting Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations and driving efficiency across order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes.

The role collaborates with Finance, Procurement, and Information Services to streamline workflows, standardize controls, and advance automation initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Shared Services, AR/AP.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards, Oracle) and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support customer invoicing, cash application, and end-to-end order-to-cash processes.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and customers for accurate cash application.
• Perform complex cash application research on unapplied/unknown receipts and approve refunds.
• Oversee vendor invoices, payments, and procure-to-pay workflows; resolve discrepancies.
• Drive process improvements and automation; support SOX controls and audit readiness.
