Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a Senior Specialist, Accounts Payable to join its accounting team in Rockville, MD. The role manages day-to-day AP tasks including invoice processing, expense report review in Concur, vendor maintenance, payments, and card reconciliations with attention to detail and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of AP experience, hands-on Concur expertise, and strong Excel skills. The position emphasizes compliance, timely processing, and opportunities to improve AP policies

Qualifications

• 3+ years of corporate accounting experience with accounts payable duties.
• Hands-on experience with Concur for expense reporting and reimbursements.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables.
• Experience with vendor management, invoice processing and payments.
• Knowledge of Sage Intacct preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage invoices from receipt to payment, with PO matching.
• Review employee expense reports in Concur for policy compliance.
• Maintain vendor records, including W-9, ACH, and updates.
• Support scheduled payment runs and reimbursements.
• Reconcile corporate card accounts (AmEx and others).
• Assist with 1099 reporting and Sales & Use Tax filings.
• Draft and improve AP policies and process documentation.
