Job summary

BizTek People in New York is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Associate for a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote). The contract is for 3 months with potential extension. The role requires strong AP experience, Concur proficiency, and solid knowledge of T&E processes.

You will manage full-cycle AP, assist with month-end close, vendor records, and AP controls while maintaining high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Significant hands-on Concur experience.
• Travel & expense reporting.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and AP processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Associate degree or equivalent.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle AP, including PO/non-PO invoices, payments, reconciliations, accruals, and balance sheet substantiation.
• Support month-end close and journal entries.
• Manage vendor onboarding and supplier records.
• Resolve invoice disputes, PO variances, payment issues, reissues, and voids.
• Support Travel & Expense processes and corporate card programs.
• Support and configure Concur and related T&E applications.
• Assist with audits, reporting, AP controls, and documentation.
