Job summary

Proven Recruiting in Plano, TX is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to maintain the master vendor system and ensure timely, accurate processing of supplier accounts payable transactions and payments. You will build relationships with internal and external customers and participate in AP projects and initiatives.

The role requires 4+ years of AP experience, strong Excel and ERP knowledge, and excellent communication.

Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist will maintain the master vendor system; ensure timely, accurate processing of all supplier accounts payable transactions and payments; build and manage business relationships with internal and external customers; and participate in key Accounts Payable projects and initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Supervise daily Accounts Payable operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Review supplier setup forms/submissions, set up new suppliers, or change existing suppliers in EET according to the Vendor Master Data SOP.
• Ensures Supplier/Vendor invoices and payments are processed on time and accurately, in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor/resolve AP aging reports.
• Uploads and codes invoices daily.
• Analyzes reporting data to identify and implement streamlined processes, best practices, and internal controls for the AP function.

Who you are

• 4+ years of Accounts Payable experience with strong tenure.
• Ability to multitask, work efficiently, set priorities, and manage deadlines in a changing environment.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Excel.
• Proven team-building experience with an upbeat and positive attitude.
• ERP experience required.

What does this position pay?

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $50,000 to $75,000 per year DOE. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
