Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Payment Run Senior Specialist in Chicago to manage multiple weekly payment runs, process supplier invoices, and landowner payments within Oracle ERP. The role supports the AP team and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate payments and maintains policy-compliant processing.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in high-volume AP, strong Excel/Word skills, and solid knowledge of W-9 forms, with the ability to handle complex multi-subsidiary structures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in a high-volume accounts payable environment.
• Experience with the purchase order to invoice payment process.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with Excel and Word.
• Detailed knowledge of IRS form W-9.
• Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experienced in dealing with highly complex companies with multiple subsidiaries that affect coding and payment processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute multiple payment runs each week to ensure timely payment of all invoices.
• Coordinate communications with Treasury to ensure all payments are appropriately approved for issuance.
• Execute adhoc and emergency payments as required.
• Provide highest level of customer support for both internal and external clients by responding to inquiries related to invoices and/or payments.
• Research, reconcile, and clear discrepancies in a timely basis.
• Collaborate with internal and external business partners to expedite resolution of payment issues.
• Monitor AP systems and ensure timely processing of payment requests.
