Job summary

MidAmerican Energy Company is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to serve as a subject matter expert for AP processes, systems, and policies. You will support multiple units, resolve complex invoice and supplier issues, and ensure accurate, timely financial transactions.

You will maintain supplier master data and work with IT to test ERP enhancements, participate in system testing, and promote compliant AP practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of accounts payable or related experience.
• Proficiency with financial systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for accounts payable processes, systems, and policies.
• Resolve complex invoice, payment, supplier, and policy issues with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain supplier master data and governance activities.
• Collaborate with IT and business partners to test ERP enhancements and process improvements.
• Support system testing and document business requirements for changes.
