Southwest Traders, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee AP functions at our Temecula, CA location.

The role focuses on accurate processing of vendor invoices, timely payments, and strong internal controls while leading the AP team. The ideal candidate has prior AP management experience, proficiency with Excel and ERP systems, and a track record of improving processes in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
• Experience supervising AP staff or managing AP functions preferred.
• Strong internal controls and documentation practices required.
• Ability to review vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Knowledge of 1099 reporting is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day activities of the AP department and AP staff.
• Review, code, approve, and process vendor invoices on time.
• Manage AP check runs and electronic payments.
• Monitor AP aging and resolve outstanding items.
• Maintain vendor records and documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors and assist cash flow planning.
