Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounts Payable for a growing publicly traded organization in West Los Angeles. The role is hybrid, combining hands-on leadership with scalable AP operations.

You will lead a team in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment, drive process improvements, and partner with Finance, Treasury, and Procurement to optimize workflows. This position offers high-visibility and strategic impact within the finance organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Experience managing high-volume Accounts Payable operations.
• Experience leading teams in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong process improvement and change management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Accounts Payable team, fostering accountability and development.
• Oversee daily AP operations, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and payment execution.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and reduce errors.
• Develop, monitor, and report on KPIs and service level metrics.
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Treasury, Procurement, and other leaders to improve workflows.
• Support growth initiatives, including acquisitions, entity integrations, and future system implementations.
• Analyze AP data to identify trends, improve reporting, and drive operational decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting best practices.
