Century Group is partnering with a client to hire a Senior Accounts Payable Manager in Los Angeles, CA. Direct Hire opportunity with base salary $130,000 to $145,000 per year.

You will oversee global accounts payable across business units, manage invoice processing, payments, vendor records, and month-end close, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The role emphasizes process improvements and automation, with collaboration across accounting, procurement, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounts payable experience with at least 3+ years of management responsibility.
• Experience leading global or multinational accounts payable operations within a complex business environment.
• Strong understanding of procure to pay processes, financial controls, accounting principles, and compliance requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial systems, and ERP platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global accounts payable operations across multiple business units, legal entities, and geographic regions to ensure efficient financial processing.
• Manage invoice processing, payment administration, vendor records, and month end close activities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor accounts payable performance metrics, account reconciliations, and aging reports to support strong financial controls and working capital management.
• Lead process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and automation projects to increase operational efficiency and scalability.
• Partner with accounting, procurement, operations, and leadership teams to support acquisitions, integrations, and strategic business initiatives.
