Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $130,000 to $145,000 per year.
Oversee global accounts payable operations across multiple business units, legal entities, and geographic regions to ensure efficient financial processing.
Manage invoice processing, payment administration, vendor records, and month end close activities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Monitor accounts payable performance metrics, account reconciliations, and aging reports to support strong financial controls and working capital management.
Lead process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and automation projects to increase operational efficiency and scalability.
Partner with accounting, procurement, operations, and leadership teams to support acquisitions, integrations, and strategic business initiatives.
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive accounts payable experience with at least 3+ years of management responsibility.
Previous experience leading global or multinational accounts payable operations within a complex business environment.
A strong understanding of procure to pay processes, financial controls, accounting principles, and compliance requirements.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial systems, and enterprise resource planning platforms.
Proven leadership experience managing large teams, outsourced service providers, and cross functional stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of multi currency transactions, international payment processes, and global vendor management practices.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with experience developing policies, procedures, training programs, and workflow documentation.
Demonstrate the ability to improve processes, strengthen controls, implement automation solutions, and drive operational excellence.
