Wesley Mingledorff Talent Partners in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead a high-volume AP operation onsite. The role requires hands-on leadership, process improvement, and cross-department collaboration to Optimize invoicing, payments, and controls.

The ideal candidate will manage a team, improve efficiency, and drive accuracy in a complex, multi-entity environment while partnering with Accounting, Finance, and Operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive AP or accounting experience, with team supervision.
• Experience in a high-volume, multi-entity environment.
• Strong understanding of AP lifecycle, internal controls, reconciliations, and payment processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee day-to-day accounts payable, processing invoices and payments.
• Coach and develop AP team with clear priorities.
• Oversee vendor setup, invoice processing, and expense reports.
• Review complex invoices and vendor inquiries.
• Ensure timely payments across multiple methods.
• Maintain AP controls and documented approvals.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve issues.
• Monitor workflows, aging, and KPIs to improve processes.
• Support month-end and year-end close and audits.
• Implement process improvements for efficiency.
• Serve as escalation point for stakeholders.
