Job summary

Focus Search LLC is recruiting an Accounting Supervisor for a growing logistics services company in the West Palm Beach area. The role will oversee a team of 6 accountants across GL, AP, and AR, while ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

You will analyze financial records, prepare journal entries, close monthly books, and assist with audits and system improvements, driving efficiency and policy adherence in a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong people management experience, able to supervise GL and Accounting Operations personnel.
• Experience with ERP systems; prior system implementations preferred.
• Professional working proficiency in Spanish highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial records and prepare and review journal entries.
• Perform account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analyses.
• Support monthly close, audits, internal controls, and accounting policies.
• Lead and supervise a team of 6 accountants in GL, AP, and AR.
• Assist with accounting system improvements.
