Job summary

Confidential is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily AP/AR operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will ensure accurate processing, assist with month-end close, and provide hands-on guidance on technical accounting matters.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting and 3+ years of accounting experience with US GAAP, close processes, and ERP systems, preferably SAP. Supervisory experience and CPA/ACCA/CMA credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or multi-entity.
• Strong AP/AR hands-on experience.
• Solid US GAAP knowledge and accrual-based accounting.
• Experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• CPA/ACCA/CMA or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing or plant-based/multi-site org preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily AP and AR activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Post and review journal entries for accuracy and compliance.
• Support month-end close, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to the team.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, Procurement on processes.
• Assist internal and external audits with documentation.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Manage back-up coverage for AP operations as needed.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis for management.
