Office Depot in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee governance, accounting, analysis, and reporting across the corporate office and outsource site, supervising CapGemini staff accountants and ensuring timely, accurate month-end closes.

You will support external audits, review reconciliations, and drive process improvements with a strong US GAAP background, advanced Excel skills, and ERP experience (Oracle preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Accounting or finance
• Minimum Years of Experience: 5
• Accounting with minimum 1-year supervisory experience preferred
• CPA or MBA preferred

Responsibilities

• Governance over cash and general accounting accounts, analysis, reporting, and special projects for corporate and outsource sites.
• Supervise CapGemini staff accountants and partner to implement process improvements.
• Oversee month end close process maintained by outsource provider for timely close.
• Analyze business drivers for monthly/quarterly account fluctuations; coordinate audits.
• Ensure SOX controls identified, evidenced, and documented; monitor reports for SOX compliance.
• Review reconciliations and journal entries per US GAAP.
