Alignment Health, LLC is seeking an AVP of Accounting & SEC Reporting to lead external financial reporting, oversee technical accounting matters, and liaise with SOX/internal auditors. The role requires deep GAAP/SOX expertise, strategic and detailed oversight, and strong leadership across multi-entity operations.

Formación

• 12+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
• 8+ years of public accounting experience in a Big Four firm with a technical accounting background.
• CPA license and BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, SOX 404, and PCAOB standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead preparation, review, and filing of external reporting deliverables (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, disclosures).
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, Reg S-X, Reg S-K and guidance.
• Coordinate financial reporting timelines with internal partners and external auditors.
• Serve as technical accounting authority for complex transactions (ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 805, equity, impairment).
• Prepare technical accounting memos, position papers, and audit-ready docs.
• Monitor new GAAP guidance and ensure proper implementation.
• Collaborate with Controller to enforce accounting policies.
• Partner with Internal/External Audit on control testing and walkthroughs.
• Assist with special projects like system implementations and process improvements.
• Lead and back up senior leadership in financial reporting cycles.
