Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Five years of accounting experience, preferably in financial services or trading.
• Experience with public accounting firms is advantageous.
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting and financial processes in compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support electronic trading operations (settlement, clearing, reconciliations).
• Prepare and review journal entries and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
• Perform variance analysis and compile monthly/quarterly financial reports.
• Contribute to financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Develop policies to automate and strengthen financial operations.
