WhiteCap Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated accounting and operations lead in Melville, NY. You will manage daily to monthly reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet activities to support accurate financial reporting.

The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. You will mentor junior staff and help drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum four years of experience in accounting, treasury, or related fields.
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of financial activities, including authorizations, settlements, and supplier payment records.
• Review batch files and system interfaces for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment and data issues.
• Test system changes and process automation and support audit-ready documentation.
