Job summary

Included Health is seeking a Sr. Manager, Accounting to lead a fast‑growing Finance organization. This hands‑on leadership role balances technical accounting expertise with operational execution in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include managing equity, intangibles, leases, fixed assets, and the close process, while mentoring a high‑performing team and collaborating with FP&A, Tax, Legal, IT, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Big 4 experience and CPA strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Experience with Workday/Looker/Microsoft Suite/GSuite or other large ERP.
• Demonstrated experience in a public company environment, including readiness for and participation in an IPO.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly allocations and software capitalization processes, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
• Review monthly close for the trial balance and financial statements, booking and reviewing adjusting entries.
• Lead equity accounting work including 409A valuations, stock-based compensation, and deferred fulfillment matters.
• Manage technical accounting for intangibles, goodwill, leases, and fixed assets; perform impairment analyses and asset tracking.
• Manage intercompany transactions and eliminations between parent and subsidiaries.
• Lead transition of legacy systems during acquisitions and support due diligence and integration for future M&A.
• Prepare commentary with FP&A for monthly/quarterly statements and respond to investor inquiries.
• Collaborate with Tax on income data requests and state tax compliance; manage filings.
• Serve as accounting team's Workday system expert; drive process improvements.
• Assist with annual audit and update disclosures.
• Build relationships with FP&A, Tax, Legal, IT, and Engineering.
• Act as accounting team AI champion to drive efficiencies.
• Mentor and develop talent; provide leadership and structure for scaling.
