Job summary

Included Health is seeking a Sr. Manager, Accounting to lead a fast-growing finance team.

This hands-on leadership role balances deep technical accounting with operational execution, focusing on equity, intangibles, goodwill, leases, and fixed assets. You will partner with FP&A, Tax, Legal and IT, review monthly close, oversee intercompany eliminations, and mentor a high-performing team as the company scales through growth and potential M&A activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Big 4 experience and CPA strongly preferred.
• 8-10 years progressive accounting, 3+ years in management.
• Experience with Workday/Looker/Microsoft Suite/GSuite or other large ERP.
• Public company experience, IPO readiness.
• Strong technical accounting for complex transactions like M&A.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills and deadline discipline.
• Proven mentoring and talent development track record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly allocations and software capitalization, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Review monthly close for trial balance and financial statements; book and review adjustments.
• Lead equity accounting; partner on 409A valuations, stock-based compensation, and deferred fulfillment.
• Manage intangible assets, goodwill, leases, fixed assets; impairment analysis and memo updates.
• Handle intercompany transactions and eliminations across entities.
• Oversee transition of legacy systems during M&A integrations.
