Job summary

DailyPay, Inc. is seeking a Manager - Accounting to lead the core accounting function, ensuring GAAP compliance and the accuracy of DailyPay’s financial statements.

You will drive month-end close, establish departmental objectives, and manage critical internal and external relationships, aligning processes with company growth. With strong NetSuite expertise, you will automate workflows, strengthen internal controls, and mentor a team of accounting professionals while partnering with Legal,

Qualifications

• 6+ years progressive accounting experience including leadership in fintech SaaS or Big 4 environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• ERP mastery with NetSuite and reconciliation software (Numeric).
• Strategic problem solving aligned with organizational goals.
• Strong written and verbal communication to non-financial stakeholders and executives.
• Active CPA license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Corporate Accounting integration and establish understanding of accounting processes.
• Oversee global month-end, quarterly, and year-end close to US GAAP requirements.
• Define and execute departmental objectives to improve accuracy and close cycle times.
• Drive system automation and optimization within NetSuite and fintech stacks.
• Strengthen internal controls and SOX readiness across financial activities.
• Lead and mentor accounting professionals and foster high performance.
• Collaborate with Legal, Engineering, and Product on complex transactions and new product launches.
