Job summary

Payabli is a next-generation payments infrastructure company seeking a Staff/Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close, while assisting with audits and vendor invoice processing.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in QuickBooks Online, advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of GAAP, along with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience (private accounting with some public accounting experience preferred).
• Highly experienced with Excel and QuickBooks Online.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation in QuickBooks.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
• Assist in month-end, and year-end close processes.
• Receive, review and process vendor invoices.
• Assist with audit preparation and tax compliance activities.
• Complete ad hoc accounting related requests.
