Job summary

Fastpay Payroll Services is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the monthly close, prepare financial statements, and supervise the accounting team under the Controller.

You will manage the general ledger, fixed assets, audits, budgeting, and ensure GAAP compliance, including government contracts. Occasional travel (<25%) may be required while supporting a fast-paced finance function.

Proficiency in Costpoint, Excel, and Word is required, with a minimum of 8–15 years of GL accounting experience and a Bachelor's in Accounting; CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience with major ERP financial management system (Costpoint preferred).
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Experience with Government and Commercial Contracts and job cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close, journal entries, and GL analysis.
• Manage indirect cost reports and submissions; prepare monthly financial reports.
• Oversee month-end customer invoicing and balance sheet reconciliations; fixed assets accounting.
