Job summary

Michigan Paving and Materials, a CRH Company, seeks a Senior Accounting Manager to lead the Business Unit accounting team and partner with the Business Unit Controller. This role oversees financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, internal controls, and audits to ensure accurate, timely financial information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or controllership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, audits, and technical accounting.
• Experience leading accounting teams and collaborating with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting activities, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Review statements, schedules, and analyses for accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with operational teams to ensure timely financial results.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
• Guide SOX compliance and internal controls; support audits.
