Job summary

Michigan Paving and Materials, a CRH Company, seeks a Safety Director to lead regional safety initiatives across Michigan Paving & Materials, Stoneco, and Cadillac Asphalt. The role partners with leadership to foster a culture of safety, provide technical guidance, and manage risk and environmental teams.

The position requires implementing training, conducting inspections, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Travel within the region and collaboration with executives are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of workers' compensation claim management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• OSHA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee risk management and environmental teams.
• Collaborate with leadership to create a safety culture.
• Coordinate safety training and inspections across locations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local safety regulations.
• Prepare clear safety reports using Microsoft tools.
