Midsouth Aggregates, a CRH Company, is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls across aggregates locations. You will partner with operations, finance, and shared services to ensure accurate, timely results and actionable analysis.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, leadership, and the ability to translate operational activity into financial insight that supports profitability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Progressive accounting experience including month-end close and reporting.
• Ability to lead teams and partner with operations and finance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close, consolidation, and internal controls for Aggregates.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Analyze variances and provide actionable insights for leadership.
• Support capital projects, inventory costing, and fixed assets.
• Partner with operations and shared services to improve processes.
