Job summary

CRH Americas Materials Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead the Accounting Shared Services team within Record-to-Report (R2R). You will oversee general and cost accounting, fixed assets, and financial close execution, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.

You will drive process improvements, provide strategic insights, and partner with internal teams and external auditors to support business decisions and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• 7+ years of experience in finance/accounting roles.
• 5+ years leading accounting teams and delivering customer service.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.
• Expertise in GAAP compliance and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Accounting Shared Services team and the monthly financial close.
• Ensure accurate reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed asset accounting.
• Drive process improvements and automation within R2R and SSC.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Collaborate with external auditors and senior stakeholders to deliver insights.
