Job summary

Confidential in West Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to own the accounting function and shape how finance operates as the company scales. This onsite role reports to the CFO and offers a long-term opportunity to influence the organization.

You will manage full accounting operations, develop a high-performing team, and drive system improvements while ensuring audit-ready compliance and timely month-end close.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting/audit experience with people management.
• CPA or actively working toward one.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Comfort with QuickBooks, Excel, and Salesforce to optimize systems.
• Ability to lead a team and engage senior leadership with numbers.

Responsibilities

• Full accounting operations (AP, AR, GL) with ownership over accuracy and controls.
• Lead and develop a team, building a culture people want to stay for.
• Drive process and systems improvements, including upgrades/implementations.
• Month-end close and reporting for clear leadership insight.
• Maintain compliance and internal controls, audit-ready at all times.

Our client is hiring an Senior Accounting Manager to own the accounting function and help shape how finance operates as the company scales. This is a rare long-term seat: plant roots, grow with the firm, and actually see your impact on the org. This role is onsite daily in West LA.

What You'll Own

• Full accounting operations (including AP, AR, and GL) with real ownership over accuracy and controls
• A team you'll lead and develop, building a culture people want to stay for
• Process and systems improvements, including hands-on system upgrades/implementations
• Month-end close and reporting that gives leadership real clarity
• Compliance and internal controls, audit-ready, always

What You Bring

• 4+ years of progressive accounting/audit experience (people management + financial services experience is a big plus)
• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
• CPA or actively working toward one
• Comfortable in QuickBooks, Excel, and Salesforce and excited to optimize systems as the company grows
• Confidence to lead a team and hold your own with senior leadership, paired with genuine curiosity about the numbers and how the business runs
