Job summary

Ledgent, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger activities while partnering with leadership to support business growth. This onsite, full-time role in California offers challenging responsibilities and opportunities to drive process improvements across the finance function.

You will lead close processes, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, and ensure GAAP compliance while mentoring junior staff and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• ERP experience (Sage, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP or similar).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• CPA designation or CPA-track preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Compensation

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000+ DOE

Compensation may be adjusted based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.
