Job summary

BioWave Corporation in Westport, CT is seeking a highly analytical FP&A and Accounting Team Lead to oversee core accounting operations while leading financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for a growing medical device company.

Reporting to the Controller, you will partner with operations, sales, and leadership to provide actionable insights, improve financial visibility, and support strategic decision-making in a small, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial analysis.
• Hands-on budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience.
• Experience in a small or mid-sized company environment preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; QuickBooks and Salesforce experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
• Assist with monthly close processes with the Assistant Controller.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations and GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and discrepancies.
• Support audits, tax filings and external reporting.
