Job summary

Transcend, a Twin Cities-based medical device company, seeks a Senior Finance Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, and accounting. Reporting to the CEO, you will build forecasts, oversee reporting, and drive sound financial controls in a hands-on, small-team environment.

This role partners with Marketing, Engineering, Operations and HR to shape pricing, growth initiatives, and capital investments, while maintaining accurate statements and cash needs.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years progressive finance and accounting experience including FP&A and leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; public accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget and rolling 12-month forecast for revenue, margins, Opex, cash flow, and working capital.
• Explain performance vs plan, identify risks/opportunities, and drive action with department leaders.
• Analyze profitability by product, customer, and channel; evaluate pricing and incentives.
• Partner with Marketing and Engineering on launches and growth initiatives; build expansion models.
• Oversee cash forecasting, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and credit facilities.
